The Red Box Challenge

Everyone loves a quiz – it feeds our need to show just how much we know about stuff (or in many cases how much we don’t)

The Red Box challenge is clever because it meets this need whilst fitting seamlessly into a lunch or dinner event without disrupting the flow of the meal.

How it works

The Red Box Challenge is a great evening entertainment. It can take place either during or after a dinner and is a superb way of making sure there is lots of laughter, conversation, networking and healthy competition during the evening.

We start by placing a red box in the centre of each table before the delegates arrive for their meal.

Once everyone is seated, we give a very brief introduction to the game. Each table then has until the end of the main course to answer questions, solve riddles, crack puzzles, identify famous people, etc.

All the tasks and challenges are contained within the red box and in addition we have some music, film and sensory rounds which are driven by the MC

The subtlety of this format is that table team-mates address the quiz questions and challenges in their own time. Some go straight in and ‘get busy’ – others dive in and out between courses or conversations.

Teams are given until the last course has been served before the boxes are collected up and the winners announced

The Red Box challenge is a great way to ensure that any meal is more than just eating and the competition soon gets real.
