Ice Cream Challenge

“Without ice cream – there would be darkness and chaos”
This team building activity is quite simply delicious development and is one of the most requested team activities – we offer…….Yum!
It is supremely flexible and can be a stand alone team building event lasting just 1 -2 hours or part of a whole day’s team building activity
"The day went very well and the Ice Cream Challenge was very entertaining! The Poisson Rouge team were also fantastic and everyone had a really good time. THANK YOU" HR - SANOFI AVENTIS
Ice Cream Challenge
The Ice Cream Challenge is without doubt the Tastiest Team Building Event EVER!
How it Works
Having allocated delegates into teams – each team is equipped with all the equipment required to actually make real ice cream (knives, chopping boards, mixers, whisks, bowls, ice cream machines, scales, graters, spoons, aprons, scoops) and an eye watering or more appropriately mouth watering array of ingredients (chocolate, sweets, bananas, broccolli, chillies, honey, milk, eggs, sugar, custard, coffee, baked beans, whisky, tomatoes, gold leaf ….and it can get a lot weirder still)
The ice cream your team makes can be as exotic as you like but remember this – we have one rule – if we have to try it – so do you!
Creative Equipment
Teams will also have everything they need to brand, package and promote their products including packaging materials, coloured pens, glue, magazines, scissors, glitter, ribbons… etc
The Challenge
Within the time given – each team must identify their target market, design and create a new ice cream product, promote it, create a marketing launch presentation and produce a short TV commercial which can be either filmed or performed live.
Judging
Points are awarded for commerciality, creativity, branding, design and team work.
Why the Ice Cream Challenge
If you want to really capture hearts and minds in any team building activity participants have to enjoy what they are doing . They need to enjoy the experience, be amazed by it and be delighted by the end result.
At the same time (if required) they need to have a chance to explore some of the basic principals of effective team work.
Making ice cream does exactly that and since Poisson Rouge was established way back in 1992 the Ice Cream Challenge this is the single most popular and most requested activity we do.
