Wickham House

A Unique Venue for Meetings, Team Building and Events

… the epitome of elegance, privacy and harmony

Wickham House is an exceptionally beautiful Georgian property, formerly the rectory to St Swithun’s, the historically important church which lies within its grounds.  Set in 52 acres of parkland with stunning views over the neighbouring countryside, it offers myriad of possibilities for team-building activities, family fun days, festivals and marquee-based events.

Wickham has two principal outside sites for events, one of 6 acres located right in front of the house, and one of 15 acres located either side of the main drive.  They also have a stunning Barn that can host between 12 and 50 for a seated meal, or 80 for a standing event.

Situated 50 miles west of London just off the M4, close to the junction with the A34, and with parking for up to 300 cars, it is an ideal venue for corporate events whose delegates come from London, Oxford, Swindon, Reading, Bracknell or Newbury, or indeed for those flying in to Heathrow.

Wickham House only works with experienced event planners, who should choose their marquee, production, catering and photographic suppliers from our very carefully curated list. They hold a premises license which allows live music until midnight and recorded music until 3am.

Wickham does not offer accommodation, but works in close partnership with The Vineyard in Stockcross, a well-known 5* boutique hotel situated 3 miles away, and a number of delightful and pubs nearby.   There is not a problem accommodating large numbers of guests in comfort and style within 15 minutes of the property.  Should the occasion permit, they also have a great Glamping package.
