1.1 Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum period of 1 month, unless otherwise specified in writing by Poisson Rouge.
A booking for an event or for consultancy services will be deemed confirmed only upon receipt by Poisson Rouge (or its duly appointed agent) of a confirmation of booking form signed by the client together with a minimum deposit of:
For direct end user Clients: 50% of the total cost.
For third party agencies: 100% of the total cost
2.1 The deposit must have been received by Poisson Rouge prior to the event commencing or the event will not take place.
2.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Poisson Rouge any outstanding balance for the total cost of any event/consultancy is due immediately on completion of the event.
2.3 Payments can be made by credit card or by BACS. A variable processing fee of between 3%-6% will be charged for credit card payments.
3.1 A cancellation is only deemed effective when notice has been received in writing
3.2 If cancellation is made less than six weeks before the first day of an event or programme commencing, a deposit of 50% of total programme cost is forfeit. In the event that this deposit has not yet been paid, but written confirmation has been received by Poisson Rouge, this deposit of 50% remains due.
3.3 If cancellation is made less than two weeks before the first day of an event or programme commencing, 100% of the total event costs will be retained. In the event that these monies have not yet been paid but written confirmation has been received by Poisson Rouge 100% of the total programme costs will remain due.
4.1 An event may only be postponed by the client by giving notice in writing.
4.2 If a postponement notice, stating a new date within three months, is received from a client by Poisson Rouge less than six weeks prior to the first day of an event or programme commencing, then half of the original deposit paid or due is forfeit and the event will only be rearranged by Poisson Rouge on receipt of a further deposit.
4.3 If a postponement notice stating a new date within three months, is received from a client by Poisson Rouge less than one week prior to the first day of an event or programme commencing then the full deposit is forfeit.
- ALTERATIONS & AMENDMENTS
Poisson Rouge reserves the right to cancel or vary any event where this becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
Poisson Rouge will accept no liability for damage to property, cancellation, delay, irregularity, or inconvenience to any delegate or any consequential loss or expenses resulting from travel delays, changes in aircraft times, trains, ships, cars or other travel services, sickness, weather, war, strikes, riots, civil commotion, quarantine or any other cause whatsoever due to circumstances beyond its direct control.
Poisson Rouge reserves the right to use photographs, video and any other collateral materials for its own marketing purposes unless expressly requested not to do so by the client.
- VENUE TERMS & CONDITIONS
When arranging a venue for a client, Poisson Rouge and the client are subject to the venue’s terms and conditions for alterations and cancellation. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are familiar with the venue’s terms and conditions.
All disputes involving contractual obligations with Poisson Rouge (whether or not the event takes place within the United Kingdom) shall be deemed to be under the jurisdiction of the legal system and Laws of England and Wales and will be settled through English courts of Law.
