Fascinated by the creative process – Tom is passionate about sharing what he’s learned about art, rhythm and harmony over the past 59 years.

From playing kit drums with the Art School band Scritti Politti in his 20’s, through songwriting in his 30’s, to studying psychology and facilitation in his 40’s and 50’s, Tom has been a friend, senior associate and supporter of Poisson Rouge for a great many years

Equally at home challenging a global board of directors as he is when inspiring a local charity group, Tom has an experienced and humorous approach to team building, leadership development, exploring creativity and his approachable style puts people at ease immediately.

His down-to-earth belief is that people can achieve great things when they overcome their natural fears and this belief has empowered thousands of individuals to work together effectively.

Tom’s style, developed working with teams as small as five and as large as five thousand during the last decade, ignites people’s curiosity. His own enjoyment of the creative process is an irresistible invitation for delegates and participants to leave their comfort zones  and expand their horizons.

Tom’s work includes facilitation of African drumming, African harmony singing, Innovation training,  story telling as well as general meeting and team building facilitation.

Hobbies include scuba-diving, roller-skating, song writing, yoga and moving meditation.

Tom is a rare individual for whom the distinction between work and hobbies is sometimes difficult to distinguish.
